Meet Frankie Guevara

Frankie Guevara is a graduate student at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health and is pursuing his Master of Public Health with a focus in Community Health Sciences. Frankie graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health, and a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies. He has previously served as a Certified Peer Educator through NASPA’s BACCHUS initiative for the Sexual Health and Violence Prevention Team at Cal State Fullerton. He also currently serves as the Continuing Education Chair for the Southern California Society for Public Health Education.

He is interested in sexual and reproductive health because of his previous experience as a peer educator where he got to talk to his peers and promote positive and healthy reproductive health. His interest also came about from identifying as a sexual and ethnic minority. Outside of his professional and academic life, Frankie has run four LA marathons and likes to explore the outdoors whether it's going on a hike or driving up the coast to a new beach. He also loves spending time with his niece and nephew.
